Hi there! My name is Terrence Andre San Gabriel, a sophomore undergrad studying Mechanical Engineering at North Dakota State University. I have a strong passion for the interdisciplinarian approach, aiming for a minor in Computer Science and Robotics and throwing myself at subjects and projects I know nothing about. Outside of my Resume, I play the Clarinet, Guitar, and do copious amounts of Indoor Bouldering. This website is a work in progress!

Born and raised in the Philippines, I studied at St Paul University at San Miguel and periodically lived in Singapore every summer. Growing up, I was particularly inclined towards anything STEM related, especially aeronautics. I was also pretty addicted to Minecraft and unknowingly learned how to manipulate JSON files on a beat up Samsung tablet when I was like 11, so maybe that's why I also like programming? Anyway, I was there for 13 years before moving 7,500 miles to the United States with my parents back in 2017. I spent my Middle School and High School years in Bismarck, North Dakota, very heavily involved in extracurriculars and taking as many AP classes as I could before I took off for college.

Currently, I'm an R&D intern at Marvin Composites, applying material science and data analysis to optimize pultrusion processes and improve composite performance. At the same time, I work as an undergraduate research assistant in NDSU's Mechanical Engineering department, developing embedded software and an electrical system for a project that simulates and speeds up spirit aging by automating environmental controls and data collection. Previously, I've worked at Aigen as a Robot Operator for their inaugural year of field operations, where I monitored and maintained autonomous agricultural robots. Before that, I worked at Target and Five Guys during high school, saving up for college while gaining valuable teamwork and customer service experience.
